Archway Systems provides Microstation, Solid Edge and VersaCAD software products to the EAST schools, colleges and commercial users. These products are professional computer aided design packages used by engineers designing anything like buildings, roads, manufactured parts and goods. We not only sell products but support and train in these products. Archway Systems has been in business since 1990. Using these products in EAST projects gives EAST students a leg up on competition when applying to colleges or looking for work in the field because of the experience they get when having to design in a professional software product. Archway Systems has been a partner with EAST for over 8 years.

Arkansas Department of Human Services


The Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS) is the largest state agency with more than 7,500 employees working in all 75 counties. Every county has at least one local office where citizens can apply for any of the services the department offers. Some counties, depending on their size, have more than one office. DHS employees work in 10 major divisions and five support offices to provide services to citizens of the state. DHS provides services to more than 700,000 Arkansans each year. DHS is involved in virtually every facet of life in the state. DHS staff oversees the regulation of nursing home and childcare facilities. DHS is also responsible for finding adoptive families for foster children, protecting abused and neglected children, funding the home-delivery of meals for the elderly and operating the juvenile justice system. DHS oversees services to blind Arkansans and helps develop volunteer programs, which have a profound impact at the community level. The department also protects elderly Arkansans from abuse and neglect and operates human development centers across the state, which serve the developmentally disabled. DHS also provides mental health services to nearly 60,000 people each year through its system of community mental health care centers.

Hot Springs Documentary Film Institute


The Hot Springs Documentary Film Institute remains the only film institute in the United States dedicated solely to the documentary film genre. Each year with the help of over 600 dedicated volunteers, board, and staff members, the institute presents the annual Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival, a multi-cultural and intergenerational event. The festival tracks tenths of thousands of visitors making it one of the largest tourist attractions in Arkansas. The Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival provides the institute with the catalyst for further development, digitization, distribution of documentaries and film education initiative for training film industry professionals.

Criminal Justice Institute


The Dropout Prevention Resource Database and Toolkit Project is a part of the Safe School Initiative Division at the Criminal Justice Institute in Little Rock and is funded through a Winthropt Rockefeller Foundation Grant. The Project assist schools & communities in improving their graduation rates.
