Welcome to the EAST users’ section of the Conference website! The links in this section provide students and facilitators with information needed to plan and prepare for the EAST Conference. Additional information can be found in the Event Information section.

Planning Tips for EAST Facilitators and Students

  • Check this site regularly. We encourage one or two students from each school to check the website weekly (minimum) for new information as it becomes available. Check the bottom of each page to see when it was updated, or view the Site Update History to see the most recent additions.
  • Posted in the Conference section on the EAST Forums (EASTproject.org) are reminders of upcoming deadlines and information you will need for planning. Be sure to subscribe to this section specifically.
  • On the Announcement Blog we will post quick reminders of upcoming deadlines and let you know if something important has changed or been added to the Conference website. 
  • Visit the Planning Resources page to access conference tips & tricks and resources such as sample budgets, a sample invitation, team schedules, team applications, etc. 

What’s New

Several changes have been made to the Conference this year, so be sure to review the agenda and all details on this website carefully. One significant change is that the Opening Plenary has been moved to 2 p.m., with time afterward to finish booth set-up by 6 p.m.. This in turn will allow time for dinner before returning to the convention center for Trout Fishing in America live in concert.
